Saudi Students Participate in a Solar Car Race in Australia

Tokai Challenger, the Tokai University’s solar car, won a championship in the solar car race held in Australia. Three Saudi students studying in the university’s science and engineering department joined the team and worked together with Japanese students to lead the team to the championship. This race is the biggest in the world with the participation of 39 teams from 20 countries and the race course covers about 3,000 kilometers across the Australian continent. Finishing the race in 32 hours and 45 minutes at an average of 91.45 kilos per hour, Tokai University achieved a championship for the second consecutive year.
